Chason Dominic Sykes, known professionally as Chase Rhyme, is a boundary-pushing hip hop artist whose music captures the highs, lows, and complexities of the human experience. Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1992 and raised in a household of five in Fort Myers, Florida, Chase identified early on as the “black sheep”—an identity that would eventually fuel his authenticity and creative expression.

His 2022 sophomore album N.A.S.A (Never Actually Seen Alone), created in collaboration with the innovative production team Joint Empire Troop, marked a major evolution in his sound and storytelling. With the support of K. So and Parlay, founders of the Troop, Chase refined his flow, sharpened his pen, and elevated his delivery—resulting in a body of work that resonated deeply with fans. Since building a relationship with the Troop, Chase has established more connections and inspiration to capitalize on his craft along with the team. They have created multiple collaboration projects together as well dropping their anticipated collaboration album together titled ‘Jet Lag’ set to release 2026.
